Our compact Southwark mast light is made from weighty solid brass.
It provides a wash of directional, downward-facing light. We’ve angled the bulb slightly, so it’s suitable for lighting paths as well as exterior walls.
If you’re looking to light a path, you’ll need to mount Southwark on a series of evenly spaced posts along the walkway.
Antique brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it, causing it to darken (especially in the areas you touch most). We’ve given it a head start by ageing it by hand, so it has that antique look right out the box.

Wall lights (fixed): IP44/54 – suitable for outdoor use (excluding our medium Claremont wall light with fine porcelain shades only). Can be used in zone 2 of bathrooms.
Wall lights (hanging): IP20 – not suitable for outdoor use. Can be used in zone 3 of bathrooms.
Indoor spotlights: IP20 – not suitable for outdoor use. Can be used in zone 3 of bathrooms.
Pendant: IP20 – not suitable for outdoor use. Can be used in zone 3 of bathrooms.
Outdoor spotlights (Ealing): IP44/56 – suitable for outdoor use.
Whereas the Baylis spotlights are surface mounted, so they're suitable for anywhere.
